Quick question. I have the chance to buy a 1975 scamp with no rust and the leaning tower of power for 2 grand. Not bad. However, what I want to do sooner or later is swap a standard trans. I have heard that the a-833 trans bolts right in with a new bell and joint to a barracuda. However, I need to know if the process is possible before I buy the scamp, because it is something that I really want to do. Thanks.

lol, right on it boss. I just wanted to ask first, as I have never owned an auto, and enjoy standard transmissions.

I'm with Vince here. You got a rust free A body for $2k?

Buy it and sort the details later.
